The “Sankat Nashanam Ganesh Stotram” is a description of the twelve primary names of Lord Shree Ganesh, which is believed to remove difficulties and obstacles. This stotram is mentioned in the Narada Purana. Once, even the sage Narada found himself in a challenging situation and was unable to find a solution. Despite his efforts, he couldn’t overcome the difficulties he was facing. Following the advice of Lord Shiva, he composed this stotram dedicated to Lord Shri Ganesh, seeking relief from his troubles. Through the grace of Lord Ganesh, his difficulties were resolved. This is why the stotram is also referred to as the “Sankat Nashanam” or “Obstacle-Removing” Stotram.
